The block is securely fixed in the rear bumper of the HD pickup. The truck used to pull a large trailer, so no four-wheelers, SUVs, etc. The truck came back from another state - the device signal stopped in the middle of the road. The truck returned without GPS. Great, so far it has worked - very accurate, even with addresses and names of establishments where the car stopped. I would recommend securing this INSIDE the vehicle, although for some purposes (covert surveillance) this may not be possible.
