Not as loud as advertised takes a lot of effort to start

Well first of all it works but is not noisy at all. It's not even close to the advertised 110 dB. Second, it takes a lot of physical effort to turn the knob to produce a decently loud sound. I'm a healthy man and I get tired about 1 minute after starting. Basically you have to turn it on at full speed to get the sound louder than the PC speakers at max. It really isn't worth the money. Get a horn or electric siren instead.
