Mediocre selectivity Bin

I like the look of this radio so I like it. The sound is pleasant to listen to with a good balance between high and low frequencies. The radio uses a 1200mah protected 18650 battery which is new to me. It can easily be replaced with a similarly higher rated battery for longer runtime. I mostly charge my batteries with an external charger but you can trust this internal wireless charger as I tested it and it worked very well. Simply plug the USB cable into the port and when charging is complete the LED on the side of the radio will glow green. Charge circuit at 4.1 volts disconnected from the included battery. My tests show that the radio draws 50mA at normal volume. You can expect around 20 hours of operation with the supplied battery. The FM band works very well, no complaints here. I was able to tune in to a few HF stations, but you have to tune in very slowly as it covers a wide spectrum on one band. It's very easy to tune into a station without listening to it. The daily work is good, many stations are picked up. I'm happy with that. Late AM listening is where things get crazy. Due to the nature of the AM nighttime distribution, there are many stations on the dial and it's difficult for this radio to get a grip on them. I can't hold a matched signal by switching from one to another without holding it. This indicates poor selectivity of the receiver design. I will use some of my more expensive radios for evening listening. If that doesn't matter to you, I can still recommend this radio and would buy it again given the very reasonable price.
