After getting drunk and tossing my previous player (nex something there) into the garbage in 2022, I went out and purchased this player to replace it. That player was powered by a AAA battery. The battery is dead, I removed it and tossed it away, and the player accidently threw it out after it:) Yeah, that is the case, I removed the battery because it was dead and threw it away. Well, that's not what I meant at all. Since I first purchased this nano ten years ago, it has endured being thrown at people and animals, falling from heights of up to two meters, falling into snowdrifts knee-deep for several minutes more than once, falling into snowdrifts knee-deep for several minutes more than once, and traveling for approximately three years in a car on constant recharging almost without disconnecting. It did not shatter into pieces, it has no broken pieces of the case, the sensor works perfectly, there are no cracks, only a couple of scratches on the front, and the back cover is all in scuffs and microscratches, but I always wore it as is, without covers, etc. It still holds a charge for about 12-14 hours in continuous listening mode at maximum volume. It does not have any broken pieces of the case. To put it succinctly, the player is nothing but a bomb!
