I recently purchased this device, fell for a large antenna gain, hoping to get a powerful transmitter. I also wanted to buy a device in a white case. However, it turned out that in the back room of our apartment (70 sq. M.), none of the home devices (phones, laptop and TV) receive a signal from the router. Then I found out that the dBi indicator shows the gain of the antenna in one direction, while in other directions the signal can be much weaker. Antenna gain is conveniently shown in dBi for marketing reasons. I had to replace it with a more expensive Zyxell. Despite the lower 3 dBi, it was more powerful than TP-Link. It's unfortunate that the manufacturer is misleading buyers in this way. Thus, this device can only be recommended for small apartments.
