Extremely easy to install, ignore the bad reviews

Ignore the people who have these outrageously complicated problems. It's not a lightbulb, it's not a hub, it's not an app. Trust me I'm no genius. I got them for Christmas and it's now January and I finally had the courage to wear them because I was so concerned about the bad reviews and how challenging it looked. It took me five minutes for four lightbulbs. After initially pairing with the router, you can unplug the little hub that the bulbs come with, and as long as you keep it close enough you can plug it in anywhere without connecting it to a network. So don't worry about having to stay there if you don't have a porch because you don't need it. See, I get this piece of the Christmas present that comes with my Google Center. As I unpacked it, I wondered what is this? What is this hub, why is the ethernet cable here, what is going on here. Ignore people who can't make it work. I'm not a computer expert. I have a Google Home and a Verizon FiOS hub. I have an iPhone 7, not even a new one, and I had no trouble installing it. In fact, I was afraid to install or try it because judging by the reviews I read after already buying it or having received it as a gift, I was a little afraid to try it. Because when you open the box the instructions look very strange it says you can call customer service but if you look at the reviews they said they didn't know either and had to send it back or they didn't work or they could not connect. I have four. All four were already paired to my hub that came with it, I just had to name them. Download the app, it will guide you step by step and if you plan to connect it to your Google Hub or Google Home it's very simple. If you need to use the app I didn't find any issues with the app to manage it. I don't plan on doing this because that's not why I have it, but when I need it I know it's there and it's very simple. When I first checked out the app it got about 2.5 stars and I was like oh my god this is it, this is going to be awful. It doesn't get you through, take these little instructions and throw them in the box when you don't need them. I am very impressed with the quality of the bulbs, they are very durable, they are very bright and they do exactly what they are supposed to do, they dim, shine bright, turn on, turn off and I say "Hey Google" . If this is your first leap into lightbulbs controlled by your phone or Google or Alexa I highly recommend them. This is an extremely cheap alternative to the Phillips which I'm sure are a lot better, they probably do a few more things in a few different colors but guess what I don't need because I'm 46, that is for the bedroom and office.
