When we got the steam cleaner I didn't care if it was too loud, easy to use or anything like that. We were completely exhausted after 4 months of bed bug control and SEVEN pointless chemical treatments by the "pros" PCO BugEX. We were bitten after 7 treatments and couldn't take it anymore. Steamer did the job, he made it! I steamed the apartment for about 12-15 hours for 3 procedures. And since then we have been bite free for more than a month. Maybe I didn't need to sweat that much (couch 4 hours, floors 2-3 hours etc.). But I knew I had to do it. So YES, it can be a bit noisy, but you should just reduce the amount of water. In general, I think these are not important details. We only care about the fact that the bed bugs are GONE! I cannot describe how relieved I feel. Thank you to everyone on Amazon who answered my questions. Highly recommended! Very effective thing against bed bugs. Other things you'll need: Bed bug covers (ours was from Walmart - great quality). Get them for the mattress and box springs. Bed bug climbers for bed legs to prevent the bug from crawling onto your bed. We have a ZappBug for heat treating books, toys and shoes. You have these materials, you should be ready!
