I like the design, they are gorgeous. But how effective are they? The jury is still out. I've been using them for a few months and have found this: When I use them in the dryer with my TOWELS or SHEETS the balls are AMAZING - they keep items separate so they don't bunch up. on top of each other and they come out SOFT. Not so much with CLOTHES. I have found that when dark clothes are in the dryer with these balls, the clothes come out with lint and I have to use my Furminator to clean ALL dark clothes. No visible lint on light-colored clothing. I didn't notice any extra softness when using the balls in the dryer with clothes. It's winter now and I haven't noticed any reduction in STATIC CAUSE with balls alone compared to dryer sheets. But it's really beautiful. and soft. They make great gifts :-)
