Review on 📷 K&F Concept Lens Mount Adapter: Connect Canon EOS EF Mount Lens to M4/3 MFT Olympus Pen and Panasonic Lumix Cameras by Steve Modesto

I bought this lens to use some of my Canon and third party EF lenses on my Olympus E-M1 Mark II camera. Since I have the most common lenses for the E-M1, I only needed them for two EF lenses, one for the Tamron 150-600 and the other for the Canon 100mm Macro. Both worked perfectly with this adapter and I was able to take beautiful, clear and very useful photos with them. However, this adapter has some limitations that are worth mentioning. First, it's a "dumb" adapter that has no electronic components and therefore no communication between the lens and the camera. This means that autofocus, aperture setting and lens stabilization will NOT work. If you need them, you'll have to look for some of the more expensive converters that include electrical connectors. Secondly, your camera doesn't know that a lens is attached, so you need to make sure you can shoot "without a lens". Third, since your lens becomes a purely manual lens, you can't set the aperture from the camera and you'll either be shooting wide open or you'll have to set your lens's aperture to the lens using the native camera and then find a way to disassemble the lens. Lens without iris reset. I do this with the DOF button on my Canon. Eventually you should be ready to focus manually. If your camera offers "Peak Focus", you can use it to bring your recordings into the right focus. If you're willing to use your camera within the limitations above, this is a great little adapter and I've been able to use my EF lenses. to a good advantage and was very happy with the results. The adapter feels solid and well made, but comes without a case or end caps to keep it clean and undamaged. Mine came in a plastic bag and I now keep it in my camera bag in that plastic bag or leave it attached to one of my EF lenses in a lens case. Since this adapter fits an EF lens on one side and an M4/3 camera on the other, you can probably buy an Olympus lens end cap and a Canon camera body cap as well. Here's what I plan to do to keep it clean.
