So you need to put some kind of padding under the buttocks so they don't press HARD on the head no matter what adjustments you make to it. In fact, the material they chose for the ear pads (which you can't remove) is cushioning material, and my ears itched like hell. They also don't hold heat very well. Just a stupid choice of material! But on the other hand, you'll have a hard time finding a talking headset with such high sound quality for so little money. The downside is the fact that the frequency response is a fixed 20Hz (I prefer 16Hz-22Hz). But they are there to talk, not to listen to music. First I bought it to replace my HS-600 headset which my dog grabbed and ruined. I checked the label very carefully and made sure I ordered the exact same headset. Turns out there appear to be TWO HS-600 headsets. It turns out that "model number" is not the same as "part number". 2 different companies use the same model number so I accidentally got a MUCH bigger and better headset than the one I replaced. Don't ask me what the other brand was because I couldn't make out the label after my dog Bella finished chewing it. The sound is tight and the mic has MUCH less external interference like your breathing. hit the microphone. My voice was very clear (had to turn it down for other TF2 players). I'm using a PPA Int'l USB sound card, which is difficult to set up and doesn't come with instructions, but works very well. So I'm still working on getting my voice clearer. But the headset is really very good. I got it for half what most people pay by going with a third party through Revain. Shipping was great and well packaged so I would recommend comparing prices to a list of 'other' Revain sellers.
