Toothpaste. "Natural" is an unregulated term and I don't see enough real facts about what makes this toothpaste natural. It uses baking soda and silica to clean your teeth. Silica gel is often found in regular toothpastes, and baking soda can remove surface stains. It's larger, with coarser particles than silica, but is much softer on the Mohs hardness scale and shouldn't damage tooth enamel. Grit may not be suitable for sensitive gums. Contains peppermint oil. It is a common irritant and allergen. Personally, I just prefer the mint flavor. There is also oil of wintergreen, which is somewhat alarming. This toothpaste should be spat out, but wintergreen is toxic if taken orally, and there's no warning on the packaging to call a poison control center if the toothpaste is swallowed. You might notice that it has a mint flavor, but it's a ginger and turmeric flavored toothpaste. . At first I only had mint, but as I cleaned the ginger and spices got stronger and stronger. Ginger and mint is a terrible combination. I used the toothpaste a few more times to make sure I tried it and each time it was terrible. The taste is disgusting. I usually drink it all the way down and I threw this pipe away because the taste was so disgusting.
