I bought these drivers and DA215 8" drivers to update lazy drivers on the Beovox S55 case. I mainly choose because they look good and then I have Found them to be practically an improvement over previous drivers: aluminum cone > paper cone, rubber surround > paper surround, 8 ohm > 6 ohm etc. There is also no text or markings on them, tapered to ensure they work perfectly on a restrained/muffled enclosure This was my first time building a DIY speaker and the team at Part Express have plenty of guides to ensure you get the highest quality product, they look great, sound great and are easy to install.
