But good for rice. - Kitchen and Dining

I use it for rice or similar snacks and use rubber bands to hold the top as the threads are small and don't really hold the top. I would look for something else but this one is the perfect size and can't be found anywhere else. The handles were strong but I broke them to keep the rubber bands from slipping. This is a "you get what you pay for" product. Advantages: size and shape. Price. Cons: Doesn't keep food hot very long (rice in steaming roni was tepid after 3-4 hours). The threads do not hold (especially with cold food) The seal is thin (can be repaired with a silicone bead)
