I will be as objective as possible. No! Not suitable for my application. The spring is too weak and there is not enough grip on the phone or the dashboard. I almost lost my phone out the window of my 4R. Also, no matter how I adjusted the mount, it was either in my field of view, which is clearly dangerous, or it was obscuring my sensors, which is also unacceptable. This may work for other applications. but it was a big mistake for me. I ended up with a CD holder in my stereo. I don't use it anyway, so I wouldn't mind if my phone takes over that slot for better use.
