First of all I did NOT like the way they were packaged. They didn't have a box, not even a manufacturer's bag. They came in a white plastic postal envelope. I was wondering if I received a returned or damaged product. The bottles have a small clear patch in black packaging that allows you to see the color inside. I like it. I applied two coats (between base coat and top coat) to achieve the opacity shown in the photo. Still too translucent for my liking, so next time I'll probably apply the color first and maybe I'll like it better that way. So far we've tried two colors and they change color very well. My daughters love the effect and I look forward to using this polish in my next manicure. I still gave it 4 stars because it's a gel polish and works as advertised despite my slight issues with packaging and transparency.
