For use with the Canon M50 please read this - (useful info from the manufacturer!)

We use Glorich adapters and they work very well - we use them on the Canon 60D and 80D! I copied the following information from Glorich on how to use the adapter with the Canon M50 mirrorless camera. This is very helpful as it is a bit tricky to attach to this camera. We bought this adapter in the first place because our camera salesman promised to have it tested on the Canon M50 before buying the camera, but unfortunately we couldn't get it to work. So - we didn't buy a Canon M50 - we are animators and were keen to try a mirrorless camera as animation wears out the mirror a lot and we suspect a mirrorless camera for animation will last a lot longer. I have attached photos I received from Glorich showing how to properly fit the adapter for the Canon M50. We are very happy that Glorich makes these adapters - Canon no longer makes adapters so they fill a real need! Too bad our camera salesman couldn't help us - due to budget constraints we now have to wait a while to try Canon's mirrorless camera. but at least we know there is a Glorich adapter. Here is the information I got from Glorich's Tony L. "On the Canon M50 camera, the notch is in the middle of the battery cover and is covered with a rubber plug. The correct method is to put the dummy battery into the battery compartment, push and lock it, then close the battery compartment door, pull out the rubber plug, and then connect the DC cable connector to the dummy battery through the slot. I am enclosing a picture for you to show the correct installation and use. Please follow these steps, then it should work." (see pictures)

Pros

too unreliable, not worth the hassle of having to return
