These clips didn't break at all on me. I must have gotten a great batch because I only took 2 clips out of the pack and have reused them on all my nails and every time I apply polygel. I actually use 1 clip because the other is sealed. That being said, if you have thin and small/short nail beds without too many weird maneuvers, pinky and index finger clips are unsuitable. You can fiddle with the clip until you get it right, using a tool to trim the edges, pin the underside, etc., but finding smaller clips will save you the hassle! In case you are wondering if your nails are too small, I applied my natural long nails and my first attempt at poly gel nails.
