This solid metal wreath hook is solid. Easily shortened; You just slide the bottom part back. To lengthen it you have to push and pull the small tab. This makes it very easy to adjust, but does not go down by itself. The only downside I found is that the adhesive foam is taped to the back to prevent the hook from knocking and damaging your door. There should have been a chunk on the back of the hook. Instead, there's a chunk an inch higher in a spot that will never come into contact with your door. This is easy enough to fix. Other than that, it's great. RESULT: Buy with confidence. This durable metal wreath hook will last for years.
