I first used this hydration belt in June 2015 on a Spartan Race Super riding 8+ miles through mud, crawling under barbed wire and scaling ropes/walls. so I was curious to see how it works. Well that was exactly what I was looking for. The bottles were held securely in neoprene holders as they rolled through mud, water and barbed wire. It was also very comfortable while running and the two 10oz bottles were the perfect size to help with hydration on the trail and refilling at the water stations was very easy. The bag was very roomy and I was able to fit 2 large protein bars, a packet of electrolyte gel and a few packets of crampons. I even had enough space to share it with other riders! The only modification I will make is to add a small rubber loop to the reflective holes next to the buckle and then wrap it around the bottle hole. Just a little more bottle safety when jumping, crawling and rolling. Let's just say after talking to the people who asked you should get a few more commands from some Spartan/OCR friends. Update: After 4 steeplechase races and a few miles of training one of the bottles started leaking so I contacted Adalid Gear to get a replacement and they kindly replaced the bottle and sent me a replacement 3 days later! This company is one of the best I have dealt with and I would advise anyone to buy their products without hesitation as they back them 100%. The only thing I would like to say is that I have a 29" waist so I had to pull the neoprene strap all the way down. If your waist is smaller I'm not sure if this strap will fit you if they don't size smaller.
