My son likes them, they have a soft inside so they are not uncomfortable and the bottom is made of the same rubber material as regular shoes so they are not slippery. The glitter is removed but not so easily and not in large quantities so it doesn't scatter everywhere, but the glitter isn't glued as much as glued. They are easy to put on, the strap at the top of the bodice detaches on one side to make it even easier. They use velcro to close the strap which I appreciate.
