I've been looking for a suitable and affordable replacement ever since, but anything even remotely close costs $80+. I bought this because of the low price, the reviews and HOLY COW! It's so soft and the exact same weight as my old favorite dirty blanket. It's even the warmest. For me this means I can use it alone in the summer and with my second duvet in the winter. If you like the softness of a duvet. it has it. If you like super soft cotton then give it a try. he is. If you need something to sleep with alone or with another blanket on really cold nights, this is it.
