Ok I LOVE this bag but it REALLY has a strong chemical smell despite the description. No part of this bag is vintage, but the seller may have meant a vintage style clasp. One of the buckles appeared to be welded on, so I couldn't attach it to my bag. It turned out to be a small extra piece of metal, similar to a notch, that prevented the clip lever from opening. It broke off after a hard push, which allowed me to attach it to the ring on the bag. After all this disappointment. STILL LIKE IT. I hope it was an accident and there are no problems with your bag! It's not big enough for a standard check wallet, but will fit in small or collapsible wallets and purses. You can carry it over your shoulder or as a clutch. It's quite roomy, big enough for a phone, small wallet, and a few other small/flat items. Well sewn, the bag is very nice!
