Bought this to try in place of daith piercings for migraine relief. I am sensitive to metals and my piercing in particular is prone to infection. It worked much better than I had hoped, relieving migraines and cluster headaches even when used without medication. I think a fake earring might work better than a piercing because of the constant pressure it exerts. It's a little fiddly and painful to put on and take off, but it's worth it. Although nickel free stainless steel is very rare I think they are in fact nickel free or very low in nickel because I have tried large sizes in my piercing and after 3 days (although I had occasional slight discomfort) I had no swelling, pain or Bleeding, which usually begins within minutes of wearing earrings containing nickel, even if they were very low nickel or plated. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
