My son is growing like weeds and was in desperate need of new clothes. He also started playing basketball and needed sweatpants. I bought them and liked them so much I bought 2 more sets (one size larger so I have them on hand when she inevitably grows). He's 95 pounds, fat and strong, size 10/12. Pants that are tight around his waist are usually too long for him. I can hem jeans and pants, but athletic wear isn't that easy. But size 10 of it fits perfectly! The elastic straps stretch well and they've kept their shape! They aren't too big and look sleek like runners should be. I also love how versatile they are: he can wear them to basketball, to school, and even to bed! pills in the laundry; I probably noticed some wear after the 5th or 6th wash), but for $10 a pair it's ok if his brother doesn't inherit them. They really live up to my expectations and it's nice that my big child who struggles with buying clothes has pants that are comfortable, versatile and flattering.
