Speaking of color, the light they give off is unconventional. It's a weird neon, almost like a fluorescent paint. Very cold light, almost off-white, maybe bluish, like a flashlight. Of the four lightbulbs, only one stayed on when the power was turned off and there was no way to control it. So if you flipped the switch, the lightbulb went out, it turned on the lightbulb. This made it impossible to turn off the lamp and reserve the lamp's internal battery in an emergency. Indeed, if it wasn't for the lamp hanger and the packaging that said it was a set of emergency lamps, I would have wondered if they sent me the wrong product. Because I can't recommend it. I wouldn't buy again if I had the choice.
