Good Adjustable Towbar

This towbar is NOT the model shown in the picture but if you go to the Diversi-Tech website and look at the model number you will see the towbar you will receive. The grip is very good. looks and is easy to set up. I chose this model because I travel in dusty conditions and didn't want my locking mechanism to get stuck. This hitch has two balls on the head, one 2" and one 2 5/16". It is adjustable with two hex screws. One is a set screw to prevent the other from falling out. must be used on the side adjustment screw. This is to prevent the coupling head from being stolen by small residents. Of course, you'll also need a pin lock so they don't steal the whole thing. pounds tongue weight. I wouldn't trust a clutch with that much weight. I towed my toy tractor about 300 miles and will never do it again. The toy tractor weighs 8,500 pounds dry and was dry to the bone. inside and without water in the tanks. The hitch was very noticeably bent under the weight of the trailer on it. The clutch returned to normal when the weight was removed and appears undamaged. I was a bit worried about the flexibility and if I was towing that much weight on a regular basis with a conventional (non-weight-distributing) hitch, I would definitely go with a steel hitch like the Andersen's. ***Please note I only towed this trailer without a weight distribution hitch because the RV stores didn't stock the model I wanted and I needed to move the trailer immediately. I'm sure each movement (bump and swing) was a bit more intense because the clutch gave out a lot.***
