Much like the 'flagship' of the MEGA XL range, the Boom Dozer is a giant blaster beast that takes the best aspects of the series and ups the ante even further. While the Double Crusher has 2 independently firing barrels and the Big Rig is a standard single-shot "pistol" (albeit a huge one), the Boom Dozer features an oversized 6-dart cylinder in its gigantic chassis. This lets you fire a stream of massive MEGA XL blue darts with a pump grip primer, and the blaster even has an instant-fire mode (meaning, while not innovative in the traditional sense, the Boom Dozer can quickly fire such massive foam darts , is a lot of fun, especially as the MEGA XL darts emit a noticeable whistle when fired.Like all MEGA XL blasters, the Boom Dozer is huge and unwieldy by most standards, but with reasonable ergonomics it certainly isn't overall likely the best of what the MEGA XL series has to offer, although quite expensive so the smaller Double Crusher and Big Rig might be more reasonable entry points if you're unsure about the MEGA XL.
