I would give 5 stars considering how much I love this useful little piece. However, some spool holders don't fit easily into the holes, and you need some effort to rotate and insert them. But one day (it lasted about 10 minutes) they carefully held the spools of sewing thread. There is enough space between the spindles so that the spools do not clog and can be easily removed. Looks very nice and fits perfectly on my sewing table. Can also be hung on the wall. I love looking around and seeing my colorful spools of thread. Will buy another one.
