When I put it on I decided to test it for "water resistance" by dousing it with water. Yes. Real bottled water, right on the cap. I was afraid to do it. However, all went well as the only moisture remained on the mattress topper. Didn't pass, my mattress wasn't wet. As I went to bed I was a little concerned that it might be wrinkled or noisy as other buyers have reported a different brand. It doesn't *feel* like it. Luckily my anxiety subsided as soon as I went to bed. I couldn't tell! And not noticed on other nights either. I'm definitely happy with this purchase so far. Good defender! Does exactly what I needed. Deep pockets for thicker mattresses and it holds up well. I really like this product. Inexpensive too. I would definitely recommend this product and intend to purchase another one.
