Review on Aisin WPT 111 Engine Water Pump by Gene Taylor

Looks like the same pump I pulled out of my 2003 Toyota Echo. In fact, the one I pulled out said both Toyota and Aisin were on it. However, at least on my car, getting the old one out was a problem. The end of the driveshaft sticks out quite a bit and I couldn't just slide the pump up and out of the car like many online videos show. If, as in my situation, you get stuck, you need to lower the engine with a jack. Or do like me and get a shorter stem Autozone pump. The Autozone pump placed the outer bearing closer to the pulley than the factory pump, which in theory would provide better support for the shaft and less stress on the bearings, so the bearings should last longer. Just thought I'd share my experience, I hope it helps.
