It is a workhorse that has the control that is the easiest to use. I have the most common model, which does not have a touchbar and comes with 8 GB of RAM. Previously used a 2022 MacBook Pro, the performance of the old guy was still great and subjectively equivalent to that of this one (I had to replace a 2022 Mac with this one because the previous one had a minor defect). The same is true for the screen, which used to be awesome but is now just average, and the battery life, which used to be average (between four and six hours of productive work) but hasn't changed much since then. When it comes to battery life, any air can handily beat out this poppy. However, the body is a significant step ahead. When I put this one and the 2022 side by side, I discovered that the older Mac looked next to this one like some Acer from 2022 - so bulky. This is despite the fact that I love the traditional Macbook design. The new one is easier to carry in one hand, weighs less, and is more compact than the old one. In this regard, it is more subjectively equivalent to air, although in reality it is not quite the same thing. Concerning performance, in order to carry out specific responsibilities of a programmer, I am required to work locally with a Docker virtual machine (docker-machine), in which multiple (typically at least ten) containers are spinning at the same time. These containers contain items such as microservices, caches, queues, and databases. In addition to this, I have multiple development tools such as an integrated development environment (IDE) or database client, Postman, and so on, as well as two browsers with tabbed windows open. Because of this, more than 7 GB of RAM is being utilized all the time. In this mode, the computer continues to operate for a significant portion of each day without exhibiting any signs of sluggishness or causing any other form of discomfort. A programmer can benefit greatly from the use of output. If you already own a MacBook Pro 2022-2022 and find that it meets your needs, there is no reason to switch to this, in my opinion; however, if there is not yet a similar product available, then it is highly recommended that you get this model. The ratio of how little space anything takes up in comparison to how well it performs is unparalleled here.
