I am used to purchasing a replacement leather watch band annually, and I'm also, as a result, not into spending wads of cash each time a new one is needed. This is the first time I have ordered a replacement watch band on-line, so it seemed a tad bit risker than seeing them first-hand in a store. But several days in, I like it. This is a small thing, but the packaging is different and impressive. I expected the usual (band in a plastic case), or worse, in a plastic baggie. but the band arrived in a nice, oversided cardboard box, complete with 4 pins and a replacement tool. It felt like I had just purchased an Apple product. :)I re-used my existing pins (and didn't use the ones included), but I found that the included tool worked quite a bit better than the small screwdriver I usually use.So, very pleased withthe dark, chocolately tone and its feel.I did notice that the band scratches fairly easily; I knicked it when putting the band on my watch.I expect this band to last about as well as 10+ bands I've purchased over the years, no better and no worse.Edit: Two years later and I've replaced this with another identical band. Most bands last me about a year, this lasted two, so for me this has proven to be more durable than other leather bands I've purchased.
