Great product - everything I expected. You should use a socket (10mm) to loosen and tighten the nuts. I think a 10mm box wrench will do, but the nuts are recessed making them a little harder to reach. A ring spanner will be a little more difficult. I have a whole set of heads so this was pretty easy for me. I use this stand to elevate my laptop so that the bottom of the laptop monitor matches the bottom of my 32" 4K monitor. I use an external keyboard so I can't connect my laptop keyboard to the stand. However, I believe the stand will be strong enough for use with a laptop keyboard (provided you use a socket wrench or socket to tighten the nuts nice and tight). I am very happy with it.
