Performance is sufficient for anything and anything. On a home machine, it costs 9900k, while on a working machine, they produced an assembly from 11900k. There is an increase, but in defense of the first one - it's not that significant. In my opinion, there will be sufficient power reserve to last for at least three years, and possibly much longer. If you take it for fun, then you should plan on spending the next five years doing so. There was a choice to be made between the thirteenth generation CPU and this one; but, due to the "hotness" of the thirteenth generation processor, I decided to go with this one because I did not want to mess with the LSS. There are no regrets, and the results more than live up to the expectations.
