Waste of time I guess unless you have a $300-400 tripod for it. Spending just $120 on Dolica, who decided to make her record completely incompatible with the L bracket, was foolish. Don't worry - I found this adapter and invested another $25 in this device, which makes it almost impossible to go from horizontal to vertical. I look at all the professional blogger photographers and they all claim that an L bracket is a great investment that makes your photography a lot easier - only if you've already invested in an expensive tripod I guess.
