I've been seeking for solutions to the problem of noisy head parking, but so far none of the suggestions that I've discovered have been of any use. Seagate Support does not provide a solution that is ready to use out of the box. Whoever found a solution to this issue, please let me know whether it was successful. You've Got Pros: Naturally, the storage capacity of the disk was the reason why it was purchased. Additionally, due to the fact that it is a helium drive, it is exceptionally quick for an HDD, especially when measured against its younger and more compact 10TB helium sibling. With these drawbacks: The heads' never-ending efforts to find a parking spot produce a bouncing sound at regular intervals. The same can be said for my other helium drive that has a capacity of 10 TB. Good irritating. As a result, the total is now only worth four points.
