I use a lot of professional trimmers and clippers in my work. And it's a great brand. That's why I chose this bikini trimmer for home use. Since Andis is a great hair clipper in the salon, I decided to try bikini trimmers. They feel sturdy, good quality. The motor is much more powerful than previous bikini trimmers I've bought. That's cool. BUT my only issue with this trimmer is that the corners bite/scratch on both sides. I had to be very careful not to let the corners touch my thigh. The hair was cut quickly and straight, but be careful. I tried not to hesitate and move my hand while it was on, teaching myself to hold the fur so that no loose fur could get caught. I had no problems with the runway area. But underneath it was a little scary to use. Take your time, keep moving the trimmer, don't stop, watch the corners. I think if you use the attachments that come with it you don't have to worry about cuts. The pads cover the corners and prevent the blade from touching the skin. Much safer. The shortest guard was 2 mm and it seemed to me that it grew in 3 days. Not bad if you don't want to undress. The length didn't bother me. Overall I think these are the best bikini trimmers I have found. I'm glad I found her.
