Review on PAWLAND Freestanding Dog Gate With Door: The Ultimate Solution For 80-Inch Wide Spaces, Stairs, And Doorways by David Olson

Nice wood but eh metal

Quality wise I am not sure if I would normally pay $95 on a dog gate, but they are really expensive if you buy a dog gate of real wood. I wouldn’t say this dog gate is very tall, and would really only work as a deterrent for anything my dog’s size (a standard australian shepherd) or larger. It has two feet that have padding to keep it easily moved and able to not scratch the floor. It is also nice as it is very stable and effective at keeping the gate from falling over. It contains everything already built except for installing the gate latch. I am not sure why this wasn’t done but perhaps if you didn’t want it to unlatch you could screw it in differently. The white painted wood is really nice, I am not as big of a fan of the iron as it slightly shifts and doesn’t look as nice as the rest of the gate and slightly cheapens the overall product. Despite this, I think it is a pretty decent gate that adds a bit of modern flare to your home to keep your home from being overrun with dog stuff.
