I have a 1988 caravan, possibly with the original awning on it. I bought a trailer with a small crack on the top edge and have now moved to a location with strong daytime winds. I recently replaced both of the torsion bars that control the roll in and roll out and this process severely affected the tent and created a new crack on the bottom edge. After months of stitching and re-stitching the awning I'm ready to try this Suncode replacement fabric. I was already impressed by the completeness of the replacement kit that included the replacement rope - thought I might need to salvage the original rope. Since changing the tarpaulin (I think) involves loosening and re-tightening the torsion bars, I'll have to wait with this project until I have a few helpers. I look forward to the new unbroken canopy when the work is complete.
