It was quite difficult to find products that left my hair smooth and shiny and didn't require reapplication. (My latest favorite turned out to be something that had to be reapplied once the humidity got higher, so I decided to keep going.) Love this oil though! It works just as well as the other and I only have to use it once a day. Sometimes I apply it to dry hair and sometimes I apply it after I get out of the shower and let it air dry for about 10 minutes. My hair is very long so split ends were inevitable for me and there is such a huge difference in just 1 push. On higher humidity days I use 2, but sometimes it makes my hair look greasy than I would like because my skin microbiome is very sensitive. It was a bit hit or miss depending on what time of day I apply it (probably due to humidity), the instruction label on the back rubbed off just as I was sitting in my food organizer in my bathroom and despite the lid and the glass jar it I managed to lick with it twice so I gave it 4 stars. Small tweaks can be made to create the perfect hair serum! Although I really like it. Here is a before and after photo of the oil. You can see how significant the improvement is when you see how much space my hair no longer takes up lol oh and it smells like sugar cookies! I couldn't pinpoint the scent but when I wear it my boyfriend likes to sniff my hair lol because a lot of the products I used were too strong or smelled like a hair product and not as natural as this one.
