After disassembling the case and removing the blue tape, I connect the case to the lanyard like this: the rope that sits just above it, thread the round part on the top strap through the crescent/circular slots (there are 3 at the corners on the back of the case) and then thread the round part of the strap to hold it in place. on site. Then place the soft black silicone/rubber piece on the back of the case. Once this piece is securely attached to the back of the case, place it on the front of the case, it should snap into place. I'm writing this because I didn't find the pictorial diagrams clear or helpful, and I didn't want anyone else to spend a lot of time building this case. I'm giving this review 3 stars because it took me a long time to figure out how to put the case on properly. Now it looks great and is a really nice blue color.
