I wasn't impressed at first because the bulbs were so tiny, but after I put them on and played with the remote I was just blown away. The LED was bright and the controls worked perfectly. I left them a little longer than usual because I liked them so much. When operating the remote control, you must be in the direct path of the receiver. This wasn't a problem for me as the receiver was right in front of my kitchen window and I could control it from the comfort of my own home. Thickness wasn't an issue, yes this product isn't thick so they were barely noticeable during the day and I was fine with that, but when lit up at night they were bright.
