I bought my very first one in 2016 (my old one on the right), the new one on the left. They are positioned exactly the same so you can see. Since I bought it with my first faucet (right), I only used distilled gallon water and the entire volume of the gallon never fit in the faucet's water tanks, it always stayed, and there was 1.25 inches of water left in the plastic gallon. I needed a new one. (my tank cracked) When I took my new faucet (left) out of the box I immediately felt the difference. the new model is smaller and much lighter! I filled it up with a new gallon of water and now the faucet tank holds even less water and now I have even more water in the plastic gallon of water. Over the years of using this faucet, my water is billed against my old one. Based on a new smaller/lighter crane. Now I can pour EVEN LESS water into the new faucet tank. So no, it's not a gallon tanker crane, there never was one. But it still works great!
