I was initially very happy with the humidifier and even bought a second one. However, now it doesn't work anymore. I bought it in February 2019, today it just stopped (12/28/2019) but I've noticed that it's been having issues for the past two months. It did not switch off automatically when the water tank was empty, the water output was significantly reduced; Even on the highest setting, very little water came out.

As a mother of a toddler with constant colds or upper respiratory tract infections, I have to say this humidifier saved a life! We've had ours since she was 6 months old so over 2 years and she's still working fine. It's quiet, easy to use and most importantly EFFICIENT. Worst humidifier I have ever bought. It doesn't matter how high the noise level is or how easy it is to clean. It doesn't do its job, so they become irrelevant "features" of a useless product. Instead of water vapor being thrown into the room to humidify the air, it simply forms a cloud that falls back onto the machine. I bought my very first one in 2016 (my old one on the right), the new one on the left. They are positioned exactly the same so you can see. Since I bought it with my first faucet (right), I only used distilled gallon water and the entire volume of the gallon never fit in the faucet's water tanks, it always stayed, and there was 1.25 inches of water left in the plastic gallon. I needed a new one. (my tank cracked) When I took my new faucet (left) out of the box I immediately felt the difference.

This product works well but cleaning is not possible. I have followed the directions and mold and mildew are still starting to appear. I empty the basin and water tank daily and disinfect it with vinegar once a week. I've only been using it for a few weeks and thought everything was fine. This product works relatively well but in my opinion it really can't be fully cleaned although it is recommended to do it once a week. Access to some components that require cleaning is not possible. It's relatively quiet (the word "soft whisper" can still be heard, but not intrusively.
