This product works relatively well but in my opinion it really can't be fully cleaned although it is recommended to do it once a week. Access to some components that require cleaning is not possible. It's relatively quiet (the word "soft whisper" can still be heard, but not intrusively. Personally, I don't like that it can't stand on a wooden surface and has to be elevated (not on the floor), so in order to adapt to it It takes creativity to hold up. It produces a nice cool mist that can be aimed at any area. I don't like the light it gives off, but many might find value in it. Will it last for years? Probably not, and yourself if it were, I'd be embarrassed to use something that can't be thoroughly cleaned and still be reasonably priced (although the old adage "you get what you pay for" springs to mind.) I wanted to really Americans buy and that was also the dominating factor in purchasing this item, although unfortunately we have to state that our engineers could not/were not allowed to consider the cleaning process since this item was designed n became.
