Review on πŸ’ͺ Metabo HPT NR1890DR Cordless Brushless: Power-packed Precision for Efficient Performance by Richard Lamptey

Great for a pickup truck, not stock frames

The gun works well enough that I still use it, but I wouldn't recommend swapping out your pneumatics for it. Less reliable and convenient to use than pneumatic. This weapon jams quite often, and knocking the nails out of the head is very difficult. Sometimes it shoots at the wrong depth. Also the capacity for only one rack is very annoying. I've also noticed that I prefer the pneumatic nailer head. It's farther from the hull and I can place it more accurately and press it against the tree. Another problem with this weapon is that when you line up a tree for nailing, if it's been pressed against the tree for a few seconds, you have to press the gun against the tree again to fire. I like the idea of cordless nailers, but I think Hitachi/Metabo still has a lot to do. I'm curious to see how Milwaukee's new extended magazine frame performs, I'll be swapping that frame out for this one soon.
