The first thing I noticed when turning on the monitor was the star-shaped field at the bottom of the screen - blue pixel dots continued to flicker in the bottom quadrant of the screen. Temporarily turning the power off and back on fixed the issue, but the blue pixel dots returned intermittently. It wasn't the worst for the monitor. After using the monitor for a few hours, my laptop went to sleep overnight. The monitor never came back. I turn it off, then back on - nothing but a blank screen. I unplugged and plugged the HDMI cables back in - nothing. I restarted my laptop, went to 'Display Settings' and clicked the 'Detect' button. As you might have guessed, it's like the monitor never existed. He connected another monitor to the HDMI port. I came with no problems. I've had enough for now. I packed up the backup and sent it back. A complete waste of time. Never again this brand!
