Review on Enhance Performance with the Edelbrock 1403 Performer Carburetor by Leo Torres

IM Socket when used on a 1975 amc 360 v8 jeep. It bolted to an Edelbrock 2131 manifold and worked fine straight away. This carburetor is on the smaller end of the spectrum of what Edelbrock recommends for my engine; but I ️ chose it as I ️ rarely get to secondary school and wanted economy for city driving. What, as they say; I feel the size of this carb is almost perfect for my setup. There are no flat spots and I can't find it flattening out even under heavy loads! I will be installing an off-road needle and seat kit and had to use an Edelbrock 9266 thermal insulator as I had a hard restart after the truck warmed up and shut down. This is common and has nothing to do with the design or construction of the carburetor. It's a really good thing and I didn't feel the need to further tweak it!
