We installed this product 3 months ago. We live in an area with serious hard water with lots of lime. Generally I am very satisfied with this system. I was not wild about the pex tubing -- although it is said to be the future I still like copper pipe for it's durability, just don't trust plastic to hold up for 10 to 20 years? The filter does seem to help prevent water stains from building up but I am not 100% happy with the taste of the softened/filtered water -- we still use a Zero water pitcher to get the best tasting fresh water in our household. I do like that we do not need to use salt and don't get the slippery water feel when showing because the system doesn't use salt. There are multiple ways to configure the shut off /bypass for this system and I think better instructions should have been provided -- I think the manufacturer would rather a professional plumber install the system but I wanted to do it myself. So far I am satisfied with the system but just not 100% satisfied. Support was good, they responded when I needed a part promptly.
