Beautiful, luxurious specialty papers.

I bought two different paper notebooks from Paperhues, Remembrance 12x12 and another. I was happy with both. Pros: The papers are exquisite. Beautiful and well done. There are no misprints and misprints. Colors are clear and vibrant, metallic accents are shiny and consistent. You get a lot of textures and effects in one notebook. 3D pressed/embossed texture, metal foil embossed/stamped designs, marbling and block printing. You also get a choice of skins. Traditional Indian script motifs, more modern geometric patterns, large wallpaper designs, small prints, free-form marbling, softer vine and floral motifs, and bold, heavy medallion motifs throughout. The paper has a high cotton content and is pleasant to the touch. It's flexible and durable. Ideal for covering books and boxes, using in collages or mixed media projects. It can be used for scrapbooking and card making as long as you use the correct cutting and gluing techniques. Cons: The notebook you receive may differ from the notebook shown in the listing. The overall color palette and design feel remain the same, but some patterns may not be available and will be replaced with something new but similar. You cannot order while expecting a specific paper listed. This is not scrapbook paper as one might expect. It is not cardstock or patterned paper. This is a handmade paper with a high cotton content. Therefore it has a different weight and surface structure. Some individual sheets of paper are pliable and pliable like cloth. Others are more like plain paper. Conventional cutting and gluing methods do not necessarily work with this paper. It doesn't work well with stamping or stamping. Cutting with paper scissors can be difficult. It is best to cut with scissors. Many album stickers don't work well with this. It is very porous and fluffy. Very sticky bureaucracy and sticky dots work well. Liquid adhesives and glue guides do not. You want an adhesive that will work with the fabric, not just soak into it. Alternatively, it can be glued with nails, staples or sutures.

Pros
  • Decor paper
Cons
  • Not as thick as other sets
